    Any info on pinnacle rods?

looking to see if anyone has used pinnacle rods, I'm looking for a very "economical" rod to put 50w on. Any feedback on them would be appriciated...thanks

A lot of positive feedback on thehulltruth.com. Don't know from personal experience.

We have 6 of the 60-100 pound class rods, with short bent butts. Cant say enough good things about them. For the money they are the way to go!

I bought one at the end of the season w/Pac Bay eliminator jr. rollers & removable alum. butt., solid glass blank and a nice looking wrap. I have not used it yet but it appears to be a very capable rod...and for the $$ I think it's a good deal.

    Can't go wrong

I also have six of the 60 to 100# rods, with straight butts. If you go to the hull truth he is offering those for $90. each at the moment on a season close out. I am purchasing one more to round out my arsenal.

I have 2 60-100lb standup rods, im not terribly impressed- after 4 seasons of easy use most of the line guides are loose on the blanks- not to trash the rods but thats a no no in my book. Maybe the builder had too many rum & cokes the night before wrapping my set.

After fishing with Jeff and his rods last year I went out and bought 4 for myself. They are a great deal!

Fred you should send them back to John....he is a stand-up guy and I'm sure he will take care of you.....I had an issue with the alignment of a guide on 1 of my rods and in two days i had a brand new rod at my doorstep no charge....
