Hey Capt,
We are in full swing down here in Islamorada. The back country has been better as of right now, with some nice reds, snook, cobia and permit along with trout plenty of light tackle action. When are you looking to come down? We offer packages with accommodations also. I'd be glad to help you out, shoot me an email or a pm.
These 2 were caught the other day.

Pretty Work is the only way to go, used them in Mar is islamorada, nothing but good things to say, I fished with Capt Clyde, back country, and I think we caught fish on almost every cast, fly and spinning, good conversation throughout the day and they def. knew right where the fish were. Then they throw in a follow up phone call in the evening just to make sure you had a good day, top notch.
Thanks for the replies. I will be in touch!
Awesome fish but what's with the eye grab on that permit?! Is that standard permit holding practice? Got my first permit in Islamorada last year and will be back down in April. Wonderful area to fish.
I wondering the same thing, maybe they're trying to blind a few so even us tourists can catch one![]()
I can suggest Aaron Snell. Youtube his name with 'fishing'. Plan on hiring him for my trip South this March.
I sent you a PM.
We stay @ Bud N Marys and have used Clyde before he is alot of fun. Also check out Ken Cohen and Jeff Beeler and Jimmy Wilcox. All great guides
I usually have 4 or 5 guides booked as we go down with a big group.
Good Luck
Curt
