We've been fishing up the northern end of the bank for the last month for the most part. Sunday was the first skunk in awhile but we had plenty of shots. About every third trip there's some really good feeds. Most of the rest of the time it's a lot of work but the fish are there. Just have to get lucky and/or wait out the fish as the guy with the pink bar did. Unlike past days it totally died on the turn. We didn't see another fish until we ran over a big pile just off the yellow weather buoy outside of Boston Harbor. Lots of boat traffic didn't help but with an 80 degree day in mid October that's expected.

The feeds and description posted by others is exactly what we've seen since early September. I'm pretty much convinced you're better off trolling these fish up versus chasing until they really feed. As you can see from that photo these halfbeak feeds are tough, elongated and extremely fast. Saturday while I was resting from a Chatham trip Friday a buddy of mine did very well as they did feed better but there were almost no boats in the area.

We did see a 94/95" taken on a mac Sunday...not sure which of you guys that was but what a beautiful fish...congrats!
