5 months smoke free today.

Sorry for the continued post but after 30 years of smoking i am very proud of myself for being able to do this, and cold turkey to boot.

OK lets see how can i make this even remotely fishing related HHHMMM

I wish I could say that, I have cut down but having trouble not smoking at work. I know large mouth bass fisherman say the bass are turned off by the smell of smoke on the line and lures from your hands, I'm sure the same is true for all fish. Just think of the money you are saving and the boat fuel that buys, I need to kick it! Maybe this thread will help me.

We got to hang out and fish together a lot more.
Mike smoked a lot more than you do.
I think he got sick of me naggin him.
He has not smoked in 3 or 4 years.
On the down side you could start to look like a Team Ave' Maria member by gaining many pounds

Nice work on the edge. My late grandmother quit after a half century of smoking, it is possible and you're certainly on the right track!

Congratulations

I smoked 3-4 packs a day. Quit 25 years ago. Every month gets easier. At 5 months you are doing great, All the urges start to go away for good.
