    Ahh...Just like the old days!

Launched at 2pm and had to run a ways but we found em and LOTS of em. Carbon Copy fish all 55-57" in enormous schools pushing and rolling on bait. The wind laid down at 3:30 to a sheet of glass and for miles all you could see were groups on the surface some of them an 1/8mile in size. What a gorgeous night. We boated 1, tagged two and released a 4th all on Hydro poppers. Honestly, we might have thrown 12 casts all day. We could have hooked as many as we wanted...but 4 was enough to sleep hard tonight!

Well done, I'm dying to catch one on my spinning setup but we mostly troll as I'm the only one on board who has a setup that could handle a tuna. Where abouts were you? heading out friday and hoping to put one one the boat as it's my wife's first trip AND my birthday.

Not looking for coordinates or anything, I know better. Just a general area. PHB, SEC, SWC, Regal sword, crab's ledge.

From what I am hearing (w/ a grain of salt b/c I have not been out), & depending on your intended methods, the SWC has been good early - I would hit it 1st, then head SEC, down to PHB, then back by the Race - maybe even past Wood End. Sounds like the smaller ones are making it down into the bay later in the day.
