There are some very big fish around now- far too big for 30s- so I would be careful in those areas. My guess is that is the reason for those two lost fish.

What's the word about the Bank? Have things lit up anywhere yet? I haven't seen any chatter about NWC yet....hoping to trailer down there for the fall bite~ just wondering

I never have targeted giants and I probably won't. That's part of the reason why my tackle is a little on the "light" side." I know they're in the mix out there but figure I'll just take my chances.

Those 40-50" fish make for an awesome fight....especially for if you have any 'new to tuna fishing' friends.....and it's a whole lot easier to clean and enjoy
