Given the recent restrictions handed down from the NMFS to the recreational tuna fishermen, I have completely switched gears and started shark fishing. So we left the Marina on Saturday and made it to our spot east of the bank by 8:30 am. By 10:30 we had our first visitor, a 9 foot Blue shark, and from then till 2:30 pm we had at least 3 sharks around the boat at once. My father jigged up a 35-40 pound cod. Kirsten caught her first shark, a 9 footer, by herself stand-up. It was jus an all around fun day. Alot les stressful than a tuna trip and much more rewarding. Also if someone lost a brand new Norwiegion jig to a shark I got it back but it's going to cost you!I'll let the pictures tell the rest of the story. Enjoy!
