    Good trip Larry. You are dialed in this year, I must say. Those little makos are mean critters. Fun little gremlins, just don't get sloppy around them.

    Guys those little Mako's were everywhere on the surface chasing bait on the South side of Coxes.....what is the deal with them are they usually out there like that this time of year? Don't do much sharkin nor know much about them.......had a larger fish dance off the starboard side......what a show

    I agree they are definitely a lot more evil looking than their bigger brothers. Scary little critter there that i don't think I want on my boat anytime. Just not setup to battle with a deck full O' teeth. Although they sure are tasty......

    By the way how old is a fish that size??? Do they grow quickly???

    Mike,
    Makos are born around 2' in length and do not grow very fast at all. A 30 to 40 inch fish is probably only a few years old..

    They are all attitude arent they.
