Awesome day. Flat calm. Found a big ole barnicle encrusted log and went 4 for 6 on 30-50 lb Wahoo, bunch of Mahi and some mini Yellows for the day.

We came up on the log and it was like looking into an aquarium. Bait, Triggers, Jacks, and a huge school of Mahi - big ones. So we were going to throw some jigs at them and as I was reeling in one of the bars, a wahoo came after it full speed. I broke out the diving plugs and made another pass. Bamm...ripped off 150 yrd of line. Got that 1st one in the boat and repeated the same process. Hooking Mahi and Wahoo at the same time. Had one on a jet that I was jigging and it skyrocketed out of the water 10 feet. Almost ripped the rod out of my hand...was an insane bite. They were following the hooked fish right up to the boat..all lit up. Wish I had someone to take those pics. Was sick.

that is awesome. we found a huge log like that 3 years ago around the tip of hydro. we fished it for hours with constant action.
