either that or a rigging needle through the eye sockets, a bit of floss and a hook carefully positioned on his nose; point facing out.

All of you are nuts!! I just came in from working for a living with my son Tommy Tuna, my niece Jane blue shark Fochler and my brother inlaw Steve Fochler. Results were 2 huge blue dogs and 1 mako not to bad.
Brian aka Albatross did not jump not because he was mature, he had a skirt and was afraid like most people! I catch fish and do not need to be a teaser, Larry can speak to that. I love the canyons with flat calm seas, lots of fish and great stories to tell when you arrive at the dock.
RipDog
Not only does Scott catch fish but he is man enough to have the RIPDOG! She roams the deck like a wolf and woe to anyone who gets between her and a fish!
Great report and as always great fishing with everyone. Great people out there this weekend. It is always fun when all the boats out there work together.
The canynons always leave a lasting impression. For the record I had no idea what happened to Scotty before we hooked up with that Marlin. I did not know the story until after I got chased down by that Tiger!!!!! How crazy is that?!!?
I had to take that swim because I was so beat after trying to get back all that line after being almost spooled. If I had to guess I probably had 100 to 200 feet of line left so Captain Jim had to do everything he could to get that line back but I think the line was frayed when that beast made its first attempt at the bird because of where the line actually broke off.
BTW, that was not the first time nor the last time that I will swim out in the canyons! Not sure if my wife would like to hear that! Until next time......................HOT SOUP!
Backman just because you are jealous of the Ripdog does not mean you need to take shots at her. Small dog equals big fish!!!
RIPDOG
Now thats what you get when you throw nice weather, cold beer, and elephant balls together. Great story. I will call Scott to get the full lowdown. I have been in the drink out there a few times. My mate Scotty has been in dozens of times clearing my props of debree, mostly flyer tag lines which seem to be all over the place. I love the fact that the big blue girl thought of Scott Clay as a tasty little butter ball. Can you imagine getting spanked by that bill?!! Good stuff fellas. Thanks!

Sounds like you had a good trip. We were in Atlantis on Fri/Sat. White Marlin all over...it was awesome. We had a little trouble baiting and switching...our batting average is as bad as Big Papi's...we went 1 for 8 on Whites and pulled a hook on a small Blue. Had a monster sized Mako or White swim under and around the boat on the 500 fathom line Fri night... It was huge. My transom is 16 feet wide and it was close to that.
I've been in the drink out there clearing props a couple times. We wrapped up on Fri afternoon in the middle of the canyon...I don't like to insert myself into the food chain unless I absolutely have to!!!!
