7/23 Veatch Late Report

Congrats on another sick trip Keith, we ran into Allen on Saturday morning at Ryders and he filled us in on your day. I had my canyon fishing buddy with me trying to cast to BFTs east of Chatham and we were all disappointed that we couldn't make it to the edge. We ran all over the ocean in pea soup fog but managed to hook one jigging, but never made it past the first run. Hopefully we get a window next weekend, great work again and I hope to see you in the bluewater soon.

If our weather man Larry see's a weather window for Friday, coupled with the reports of blue girls to be had in the promise land, it's time to do my thing once again....

Got a few bluegirls in Tobago (2 for 2) and a 4th place finish in March w/top marlin angler, played around with some sails/YFT/mahi in Costa Rica in Dec.. .. hoping to do the tourney circuit this fall starting in St Lucia in Oct, then Grenada, maybe Barbadoes, then back to Tobago for revenge ...lol

I'm pretty much free until Oct, so lets go fishin!

My brother Bob from Falmonth Tackle got a report from Crazy Canal Mike who mentioned some BE's around Veatch last week or two.. I dunno ? if that's the gig ; I'll down size my marlin toys to 14" stuff.. been doing really-really good running the Pro-Range quick change #22 's for bluegirls the last few years; as well as the #16 toys... Andromeda, Piper, KK, Vulcan, Enki all have Bill marks dude.... Last Sept.. broke Franks cherry on a nice 350# ***** on a #22 Piper whitehead sporting a flying fish combo, so he's pumped to do it again ! lol 5 for 6 on blue's since then, not bad for a retired
