Not to beat my own drum bt my observations over a couple seasons seem to show fishweather+FMOC+intellicast will show you the important 6 hour wind and sea maps necessary to sneak one in. Fishweather and FMOC were right on with the wind transition zones between the Dump/Lanes and the different weather conditions below.

NOAA's 2 line's for 12 hours over 40,000 (!!!) square miles is not something one should be planning around!

Sounds very similar to our trip, only our yellowfins were smaller and we landed our marlin.

First class report, is there anything like a night out in the canyons? Not for me.....the sights, sounds and memories of nights spent out in the deep haunts me untill i can return again and live it all up once more.

there is nothing like a FAC, warm, windless and starlit night in the canyons. Which by some skill and a lot of luck - we picked pretty well.

Add seas, wind, rain or fog and there are plenty of better experiences however

how do I get audio into a video upload into sfc? Old camera produced Quicktime video which had noise; not audio; the new Xacti produces MP4 with exquisite audio and video but when I upload the audio is lost.

is there a setting I am missing?

Here is that same yellow doing the Skipjack dance, alas without sound till I figure it out...
