All of us that run deep know that all to well. And these short "weather windows" can make you feel real small out there if they shorten up quicker than expected. Even if the vessel is 35' long and able to leap over trees in a single bound.

I don't think he is referring to you I think he is referring to the guy that self promotes and has problems with people on every site he posts on. I for one take his trip reports with a grain of salt.

Lets all get together and pick on anyone who actually posts comprehensive and accurate reports on here. You know, the kind with lots of details. That is sure to keep the good info coming on this forum, right guys?

Terry, once you stop posting on this site, please start up an email group for swapping info and the forum can be the place for swapping insults....

Dave doesn't have to take them with a grain of salt. He's chartered me and knows the truth. Just because the reports seem overstated to you doesnt mean they are, it just means your not used to having fishing that good on a regularl basis.

Thanks Iguana. I guess according to these guys, those tuna I called you in on last trip were not real. They sure looked real as they crashed between our boats.

It's easy to armchair quarterback from a desk when guys like us are out there swinging the bat and spending the $$$ to get it done.

BTW, Promotion is part of running a business. In this economy everyone's crying things are slow. I'm 15% over my target for the season and still booking trips. I guess it's working

Dave taking my YFT reports with a grain of salt.

Dave's doing the same for the big mahi I report about.

These were just a few fish from the same trip....But take that with a grain of salt

Let's not make this a pissing match like on the other sites. I have never had any issues with you fishing out East, hell I don't even know you personally. I am just stating my personal opinion on your posts. With that said I am done.

How can you say lets not make this a pissing match when you start off with "I take his reports with a grain of salt" i.e. He's lying, stretching the truth ect.

You said it yourself you DON"T know me. So you are simply guessing and / or talking out your a$$. I am just stating my personal opinion on YOUR post.

I find it funny that I get critiqued by a guy with a 2001 boat that only has 440 hours on it. I put almost that many on my Contender last season and I bought the boat in August. I average 800-1000 per season plus time on other peoples boats. So once agin a guy behind a desk is tossing out the shots at someone that acctually on the water fishing.

Terry - they would have looked 'more' real bleeding all over my deck I guess. Other than that they were pretty damn real. My next chance to fish is Sunday (just bagged tomorrow) and I am keeping my August calendar open. Let me know if you need a buddy boat. At least we know we run the same speed now....
