Nothing too exciting so just a brief report for ya...
Went fishing Friday morning due East out of Chatham and got a bit of a late start around 7 am. Weather was perfect, clear skies, calm, slight wind, and tons of birds out! Dropped lines around 8 am when we were 5 miles off and within a half hour we were hooked on two good sized blues. We trolled around some more looking for birds and finally hooked into a nice striper that proved to be a season PR for me of 39 inches. Around 1 we started to head in after a bunch of blues and the one striper, as the dogfish bite was starting to hit us strong. Anyways, it was a decent day in my book and I can't wait to get out again soon in a few days. All of the fish were caught with 3 oz. jigs and were in roughly 90 ft of 59-60 degree water.
