    Talking 4/23 Middle Bank (approx.)

Another banner day on the bank. Waves nothing more than a ripple. Balmy temperatures (for this time of year). And another boatload of Cod and Pollack. Or at least as many as 4 guys can keep. First drift produced 6 cod ranging from 29 to 33" and we decided early not to keep anything under 28. It still did not take long to fill up on Cod. Rather than head to the dock early we decided to go looking for Pollack, they were not hard to find. Just headed out a half mile east and waited for the sonar to light up. Middle tide ~10 AM had the best action per drift.

Jigs never even hit the bottom and most Pollack were caught in pairs. Norwegian jigs with any color teaser. Man this is a fun time of year
