35 Duffy vs 38 Holland?

I have put my 28’ Carolina Classic on the market and have been looking at down easter boats. I have been looking at two different hulls and was looking for input from any one that has spent any time fishing/operating the 35’ Duffy and/or the 38’ Holland.

Our last two boats have been 38 Hollands and we love them. We sold one a few years back but fish primarily on the other. Great boat. We also had a 35 Duffy about ten years ago as a third boat, it was a good boat but we ended up selling it and keeping the two 38s. I would go with the 38 Holland again if we got a new boat but it depends on what you need in a boat. The 38 Holland is a lot bigger than the 35 Duffy. You cannot go wrong with either, though.

The holland is a horse, ive spent some time on a flybridge 38 that is the comfy condo version of a downeast tuna boat and boy is it a pleasure to fish from, a little slow with a 660 cat but she weighs plenty with the flybridge and full tower.
