This is a 1986 Fortier 26FT Downeast with DIESEL POWER! Great for tuna, bass, and charter platform.
This boat is powered by a 1998 260 HP Volvo KAMD44P-EDC Electronically controlled, turbo and supercharged diesel. Low hours on rebuild a few years ago. Volvo HS1E hydraulic transmission rebuilt this year. 160 gallon fuel capacity, 60 more gallons than usual.
Hard top wheel house, full three sides, canvas on the aft side. Second steering station on roof.
Updated electronics. 10.4 inch Furuno Navnet chartplotter and RADAR combo. Furuno 582 LCD fishfinder. Two more small Furuno GPS units, one on roof and one in wheelhouse. Two VHF radios.
Liferaft, EPIRB, two survival suits, gin pole, outriggers, 6 swivel rod holders, tuna pulpit, head, V-berth. Located in Plymouth, MA. Will be in Warwick, RI for the winter if not sold by then. Faster and greater range than most if not all Fortiers. Cruise 18, max 22 knots.
