Damm Dan!! I thought you went "Web Silent" because you had run to George's and were too busy to post. I didn't hear about the boat. That sucks.

FWIW, my folks had their old boat sink in the same way. We brought her back up and ran her for years and years after the fact. Swap out some wiring, fix the engine, dump the gas and she should be good to go. (Not that I am a mechanic, but that is what I remember us doing.)

The Meltdown truly is a beauty and it was a shame to see her flooded. The hull and hardware is worth $15K alone! With a little added investement and some off season handywork, she'll be back to being a killer fish-raising sled! Good Luck with the sale!
