Where to find Kevlar line for use in making up stinger jigging hooks?

"I have searched for Kevlar line in 50 (500#) and 70 (700#) for use in making up stinger jigging hooks as recommended by gman in his post of 02-26-09 #11; however, I have exhausted all attempts to find such line. Can you direct me to a websites where it can be purchased in relatively small amounts for rigging stinger jigging hooks? Thank you for your assistance."

yea, Kil has the good stuff. You can also find some 700# line at pretty much any scuba shop that they use for spearguns. But the speargun stuff isnt as nice as the stuff Kil has.

Ive used both, buy the TMC Kevlar #50(250kg) from Kil, you will be happy with how it works.

I don't mean to derail, just wondering if the kevlar braid will snell effectively.
Thinking I might experiment with a circle hook stinger on my jigs - not a speed jig but a slow presentation.

Never tried snelling it, but the overhand knot method works great

ive snelled and overhanded, snell is better, obviously, and works just fine with the #50.
