The next bite on a jig.
You can probably get it from alltackle or tackledirect, but why powerpro. I feel there are better lines out there.

    tuflinexp for solid
    diawa boat for metered
    jerry brown for white hollow.

My sentiments exactly, why in the world Powerpro? Tuf Line XP or Jerry Brown solid or hollow are way way better.

Creature of habit. You are right, it may be time to switch up. What is the best value braid? Tufline?

TufLine XP is the best value braid I know of. Do an internet search and you will find it very reasonable.

I recently converted over to the good stuff from powerpro...I thought PP was good because it is heavily advertised and I didn't know any better. Some distinguished members of this forum kindly showed me the light at the end of the tunnel.

You'll instantly see and feel the difference. With use you'll notice that it doesn't fray, dry out, or have knot failures like PP.

I have heard good things about daiwa boat braid as well. Too many horror stories about PowerPro, I will never use it again.

Thats a good choice. The colored line is good stuff! I prefer JB hollowcore, but that stuff puts a hurtin' on the pocket...

Everything That I use with braid has either 60 or 80# JB on it. I love this stuff

I wouldn't go the PP route either. Too many mystery break offs.

Lots of better line out there. I personally like the Daiwa Boat Braid a lot.
