Question What Size Of Assist Hook Cord?

I am from ocean city new jersey and was wondering what size assist cord i should use for jigging tuna. The tuna i have caught in the past range from 50 to 125 pounds. Does anyone have a idea or any suggestions?

Size / Tensile Strength / Thickness:

    # 30 = 150kg (300lb) / 1.05mm

    # 50 = 250kg (500lb) / 1.5mm

    # 70 = 350kg (700lb) / 1.96mm

500lb is standard for me, 700lb if there are toothy critters around .
