    Those do look interesting. The spool is pretty narrow, but with braid it seems like you could still get a good amount of line on them. Are you thinking about getting one?

    I might! A buddy of mine fishes them and he got 30 lbs. of drag out of one of them (the 30 i believe) and still had a silky smooth 6.3:1 retrieve and free spool.

    I would love to match it up with one of Paul's rods. Saving my pennies this winter.

    did you see the weight of these reels?..or a published drag that they pull? 30# seems a little high, but ya never know, it might pull it

    they are kinda new so info is few and far between. I am gonna see if i can find more info.

    There have been alot of bad reports on the new spinner they made, I hope they learned from their mistakes. 30#'s sounds like alot of drag, i will say the design is nice, only time will tell

    FYI

    After being off the market for awhile, the Fin-Nor brand was recently ressurected by the WC Bradley company. This company also sells reels under the Zebco, Quantum, and Van Stall brands.

    Wow....so on one side of the spectrum you have Zebco and Quantum. On the other Van Stall and Fin Nor. What an array of products!
