Gal, I wondered the same thing. Was he trying to catch the fish they already had hooked?

I would rather wear gloves and crocs than be bear hugged while fighting a fish.

Hey I wear gloves..not crocs though...haha... as for that squid, must be an israeli thing, I caught a 50lber in Loreto... much bigger than that one...those giant Humboldts will snap tuna rods in half ..
