WB TUNA MASSACRE

This past Saturday Capt. Rick and myself ventured out to do a little jigging and help Chip and Arlen with a project they will tell everyone about soon.
Get on the first spot drop the jig down and hookup on GMAN'S favorite fish the Almaco Jack.Spend a few minutes there and move up the line a little and get the same result. As i fight a friggin Almaco Rick looks at the bottom machine and says those upper column marks have to be Blackfins and i have a plan.Drops down 4-5 color changes lets the jig come to a rest and starts up the column and gets freight trained. At this point i'm dropkicking an Almaco changing my jig and watch Rick land his second Blackfin. Finally get a jig down and get hammered.Rick goes 7 straight drops and we have 5 double headers in that streak. At one point we both have on fish with our own gaff stashed at each corner of the stern.
On my third drop Rick hands me the Stella 10000 on the 5'2 AMJ to try out, drop the jig down make three cranks up the column and BAM! as i watch PE5 smoke off the reel my heart rate picks up and then reaches critical condition as i watch Rick gaff this SLOB 37.5lb Blackfin.
We stay on these fish for about 2 hours land all 14 we hook.Of the 14 we had a 31",33",(2)35,(2)36" and that 37" the rest went 15-25+lbs.
Hope to have the pictures to post soon been busy and Rick has been running charters every day since.

we had 2 that were 24 and 26 lbs without the head, tail or guts......so they were mid to upper 30's.......and i didnt bother to run by the shop and get a citation..too tired!!! the rest were in the high teens to lower 20's also, fat bastids!! not to mention the exotic groupers, thats another story.
man what a day, looking foward to seeing the pics man. next time call me, i'll gaff ya'lls fish for yah!!!

All pics were POST-MORTEM,when that bite started neither one of us wanted to stop and take pictures.
That GAG weighed in at 38.5lbs Rick's personal best.
All jigging all the time.
