Anyone try a spro inline swivel at the spit ring head end of the jig and tie leader direct to the swivel? Any impaired action?

Swivels risk breaking or getting stuck in the guides. No swivels are necessary just 80# braid tied to 80# fluoro tied directly to the jig. That's it.

havent really tried it in tuna jigs

I like a uni. Quick, strong and compact. Using 100lb mono you only need two twists.

Seems like a good chance for binding up the jig. Almost seems like it would change the action but even if it doesn't seems like it can kink up on the drop.
