Paul: Should be a cool thread.
Anyway, caught this off Cape Cod this fall. 70". Never weighed, but it's over 200lbs..(thanks to Albiemanmike)

Finally broke the 200 rang on a jig this year for the BFT. Caught it on a home made Labo Jig, Jig Star rod, JM PE5 reel, JB65lb soild core, etc. It was a fun fish and knew right away it was a little bigger than the others we caught in CC. The head shakes were awesome!!!
We didn't have a tape on board so Capt Dom came over and measured he got 71" and at the dock it was 70.5" with a real accurate measure. The LxW what ever converter gave us 210-217.

Nice fish guys.
john. did you get yours jigging?
trav..you should post your video on the video thread.
Trav, to direct link your video the code would be [you tube]k2i1GSwMkD4[/youtube] But without the space.
I am not in the 200# club "YET"... but i know that more fish were caught aside from Trav and John's fish, which weighed more than 200..
Post em up...
Paul: Yes, it was caught on a 240g Shimano Butterfly Flat-side jig, single OTI Raptor 10/0 Assist Hook.
The reel a Penn Torque 300, rod a Penn Torque Rod, Daiwa 80lb Meterered braid, and a 60lb Fluorocarbon topshot leader.
John
Jim do you get the this k2i1GSwMkD4 from you tube or do you download it here first? Thanks
What you do is open the video ( or click on it in youtube ). Then you will see the little code sequence up at the top of the page while its playing. You just copy and paste it into the set of bracketed youtubes.
fishingnz works the same way but there code is [tube] ..... [/tube]
I'll shoot you my home number and you can call me tonight if you want to help out.
Thanks, I'll try this again. It looks like it is the code after the = sign.
