I caught a 212lb yellowfin on the EXCEL last month. Hit a double sardine rig under the kite on a Penn 80ST and a rod Capt. Mark built.

    Weighed on the boat's scale...

This one should be close...70-71 inches caught on a unweighted sluggo, Daiwa braid, 100 pound flouro leader, Shimano saragosa, and a st. croix rod.

    #230 Yellowfin

These are some shots of the #230 Yellowfin I got stand-up this April at the Panama Sportfishing Lodge. It was weighted on a certified scale - the fish was so long they had to tie the tail to its mouth to get it off the dock

Fish was taken on a Shimano 50WLRS with #80 Mono, harness was a Smitty. Encouragement by Kil Song "Dan big tuna maybe 300 pounds" kept me going at the tail end when the tuna was really wearing me out. Thanks Kil and Capt Sergio / Panama Sportfishing Lodge.

Took five guys to get him out of the foward fish box

Who's ready to do it again, I have 4 guys thus far for next April's Trip.
