    Torsa V Spin

    Good day

I am writing from Australia & just want your opinion on say a Torsa V Spin outfit.

Here on east coast of Australia, we can often lob live baits (30-40cm length) into bait schools, to pull the marlin that sit on them ... typically 70-110kg stripes.

In your opinions, would you prefer to lob a bait out on say 6500 Daiwas / 20,000 Stellas, or, would you be just as happy lobbing that bait 40 yards on say a Torsa 20, loaded with 50lb spectra ?

You guys do a lot of that sort of stuff regularly enough, and on the long range charters you seem to lob baits out to yellowfin. Thought you may be able to help out.

    Thanks in advance

It would be easier push the lever on the torsa with a fish on that closing the bail on a spinner. Both can be accomplised but a leverdrag is made for the task.
