TN: 200g Holographic Minnow new for 2010

Here are some shots of our latest creation. Its a 200g tail weighted jig that is designed to get down accurately and quickly.

The bellies are loaded with the best German glow paint, the sides are a Holographic "3-D" coating and one is all paint (Pink/White) so a total of five colors. 100% heavy duty through wire, injection molded lead (no bubbles or voids in the castings).

I wanted to make a jig that was as good as the famous Japanese brands and be able to sell it at about 1/2 the cost.

What do you guys think ?

Tail weighted - gets down quick, does not tangle itself

I personally tested these jigs down in Panama and it catches!

However Mahi are stupid so further testing is required....
Stay tuned for reports from Costa Rica next week!

    LOL!!!

My jigger tours are more than just amazing Jim....they go to eleven!

4 hour direct flight on Delta from the dirty dirty to even dirtier San Jose followed up by 30 minute puddle jump to fresh and clean Sierpe.

The big donkey months are just about upon us. Cubrera action will be heating up as well.

I usually go out with Captain Pablo Jimenez from the Oleaje Sereno hotel. Its the one right next to the small docks in smack down middle of the Siepre town. I've known him for some 4 or 5 years, he is a good friend and excelent captain. Will be there on feb. 27th-28th.

Come by saturday night and we'll have a couple of Imperials, fried snapper and some plantains and smashed beans.

Pablo and his whole family are all good people, and the Oleaje is a superb restaurant. Would love to join you for some beers and pargo frito during your stay but I'll be leaving Sierpe on the 25th.

I'll have the jigging scouted out for you though and will relay the info to Pablo. I've shared a few of my good numbers with him in the past.

If you're interested in viewing my project on the river talk to Pablo, his mother's real estate office lists Sierpe del Pacifico and would be happy to show it to you.

    Enjoy your trip!
