Tiagra 20's
I just got a set (long term loan), that are rigged up w/ wire line for bass (? - don't ask). I'm trying to decide how best to re-rig them. Looking for advice. Thinking either jigging for tuna (& maybe cod), or rig them up for another set of trolling/livelining rigs for bft. They are a little light on line capacity perhaps, but they have the same drag capacity as the 50's. |

It depends on you... I would think they are a tad large for jigging, but if your up for it.... sure why not.

Try it and see. It depends on what type of shape you're in. Even a 2 lb rod/reel set up gets tiring fast when you're using a 400g jig.

They are on the heavey side for jigging. But I love mine for chuncking.
