    Thanks for the info

I'm new to jigging for tuna, my first set up was an Avet Lx 6with a Penn Torque 3080 jigging rod, though I landed the fish a blue fin about 60 lbs, it held up but kicked my ass.

I have researched this forum for the past month or so and have learned a great deal about the sport, from selecting a reel, rod, line, knots, etc etc.

I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank several key contributors and others for all their knowledge and help.

Thanks, Paul708, Gman, Sea Draggin, Kilsong.

I'll let you know what I purchase and you can tell me if I learned anything.

You found a great forum with a bunch of good and helpful guys here. Not to mention very experienced jiggers.

I've been enjoying my stay here as well.
