I was pleased to test out some new gear on this trip. FOr starters I got to use the new JB12 reel and was real pleased with it capabilities. My accurate 665 2 speed was making a bunch of noise and not holding up well after abuse like this. I had the drag set at 30lbs at one point and and fished at full somewhere around 35lbs. It was smooth as a whistle plus the 500g jigging master blank work perfectly. The only thing wrong with it is that I should of moved the stripper guide closer to the reel. The Trini 40N was a gem to jig with and had tons of power with extending the handle.
