Split Ring Tools?

What brand split ring plier/tool are you guys using for the heavy split rings? I have a lighter split ring tool, and it doesnt cut it on the heavy duty spro rings.

Jesse,
I don't know that brand matters that much, but look for ones with a big tooth on them. That way you can open the split ring wide enough to get a solid ring or hook into it without too much effort.

If you only deal with split rings occasionally the Shimano Brutas pliers are good.

If you use them alot, the best pliers in my opinion, are the Shimano Baysteel multi-tools. I've been using them ever since we started carrying the butterfly jigs. The best part is they have a knob that will hold the ring open even if you put the pliers down.
