    Spinal/AE & JM PE8 - New Jig Stick

Check out my new jig stick. I have been wanting a show stopper and I think I have come up with the perfect design scheme for my taste.

It is still unfished, but I have very high expections that it will perform very well. Just need to fill it with 80lb boat braid and go.

    Specs:

Builder: Anglers Envy with Abalone Inlay
    Blank: Spinal 350g
    Reel Seat: Pack Bay

    Reel: JM PE8
    Color: Gunmetal
Option: Limited Edition with silent docking

If you like conventionals, eat your heart out.

Yes, I think they will be OK. Couldn't wait for the repair on the black hole any longer.

On a separate note, I would love to see a blank weight chart compiled one day.

My pics just don't do the abalone justice.

Very nice, I got to see the spinals in action in Wilmington earlier this spring. the 350g ty was using was absolutely perfect for AJ's.
You're reel selection looks right on the money as well, can't wait to get my hands on one myself

She's ready for a wind on. I guess this is only the 10th one of these limited edition reels ever made?

    Almost full

Builders Mark (Which I feel is a little overstated.) I didn't spec any different, but will for the next one. I have always liked cars with no logos. Yeah I'm a pain, but custom is custom.
Don't worry Kevin, I'm still in love with it. Overstated on this one is a relative term

Glad that you like the rod. It will surely sparkle in the sunlight.

I will make the labels in the future with a smaller font. I guess I am guilty of too much pride in my work!!!!

That said, I build all of my rods so, a label is not necessary if there is ever a warranty issue, I know my work and can easily identify a rod for replacement. I can pretty much identify my rods and tell what year they were made, the blank I used, etc, just by looking at them. If multiple rods are ordered and are identical, I do recommend that gram wt be placed on there somewhere so the fisherman can easily identify what rod they need.
