Do they make a light weigh harness for conventional & spinning jigging tackle?? Something that ataches to the rod since there are no eyes on these reels to attach to?? Has to be something simple out there for fishignbig fish on this tackle??

what size fish are you getting to use to use harness?
i just saw this pic'
i also have them in a 2pc model

Amberjack will be the biggest fish most likely. I dont have metal reel seats on my Trevala's.![]()
Here is the biggest key when fighting large fish with a spinning reel. Most fish are lost on the initial hookup because the angler right away tries to take the jigging rod from under his arm and place it in the belt.
Let the fish run while its under your arm and then when it seems to slow put it in your belt, this will take alot of strain off your arms initially and allow the fish to be hooked properly so you dont need a harness. This is a 80 range amberjack
I dont like the harness rings for spinning reels as most rods are fuji graphite seats
