Rod/Reel help

I was wondering if you jigging experts could give me some advice. I have been able to get a stella 10k FA at a good deal, and plan on pairing it with an OTI Jigging Xtreme 6' 300g rod with some type of japanese PE braid put on it. do you think this would be a good setup for vertical jigging? The OTI rod's action is Med-Slow, would this be a problem with jigging? Looking at the trevala's the action is Med-Fast. I'm Targeting mainly for Snappers, Groupers, and AJ's. I have a conv trinidad-20 with Trevala for free lining already. i'm a student and kind of on a budget, so i don't really want to spend the extra bucks on the new stella models with lower gear. and tips would be greatly appreciated.

the OTI is a great choice for a production rod. they have been proven,they have very good customer service.
price is reasonable.
there are a alot of good custom options. with very good blanks. that have been working out on all types of fish.
they come in lengths from about 5' to over 6 foot.
in ranges to fit your jigging needs. and budget..
starting in the low 200 range.

The slower moderate action rods are actually preferred for jigging so you will be totally fine with that setup. Id going the custom route Paul will take good care of you. I saw many JPR rods and they all been really nice.
Don't go busting the bank yet on the jigging equipment its not neccessary.
If anything put the coin in the reels, all the rod has to do is bend and not break, even if taking it to bed.....just a joke!!!

When choosing jigging rods with reasonable prices, I suggest to go with proven rods with warranty like OTI jigging rods. It comes with good quality parts like Fuji SIC guides..
New generation of OTI jigging rods are available this month.
New 600g rods are available, 400g rods will be available by mid June and 300g rods by the end of June.
