My budget rod showed up. Saltiga jigging rod with my 30T attached. I really like the look overall.

Yes, the reel deserves a nicer rod. The 30T is sweet. But the budget rod will have to do for a few months. To be honest, the blank is as good or better than the trevalas I have seen, and it has fugi guides (at least they aren't batsen), but the week point and the reason it is $100 is the wrapping. Pretty (very pretty actually) but they really need to be double or triple wrapped. Or maybe wrapped with a little thicker thread. Since they are a production rod, it may just be they weren't wrapped under enough tension?
