Thumbs up Risky business bluefin reports 25+bites w/pics

Thursday I had greg and his people out plus travis and adam to get in on the Bluefin bite but it wasnt to be that day. fishing was slow for most all of the boats with a few fish that popped up around 10 am for a quick second then went back down after a few were caught by mark and the A-SALT WEAPON, I was a few miles to the south when they went off. when I got there I didnt mark anything but had some nice slicks but no bites or marks. That day was uneventful for us and it sucked the weird thing was the day before it went off but I guess those fish moved north.

The second trip had andy and his friends out and I told them the fishing was slow but there have been a few Yellowfin caught so with that we were off in search of the yellowfin. After a late start we got to the 505's and a few boats were getting a few bites so we trolled around there for a bit and had a long rigger come down but didnt come tight. about a 1/2 hour later the inside rigger comes down and we boated a nice yellowfin at 55 pounds then Mark gave me a shout that he was hooked up to a double of bluefins 5 miles to the north but again it was a quick bite and they were gone before I could get there.
Had a pretty eventful inlet crossing on the way in and that was that.

Saturdays trip was the one. had Joe and his group come out with us and I told them the same thing, the bite is slow. well the fish moved back in and once we got into them it was non stop action for the next few hrs with doubles and triples being the norm. we had over 25 bites that day with Joes fish being the 69 incher that we landed and killed. The fishing is world class if your a jigger or troller it doesnt matter. When its on its on big time, even when its slow there are a few fish to be had if your in the right spot.
Here are some pics of Joes fish.
