    Pro Gear Reels

Initial proper maintenance will make these reels last a lifetime. If any of you don't want your CS500, CS501 or CS600, I am interested as I have many friends still looking for these reels.

i use a progear oceanus30, and i love the smoothness of the reel.

    dragwise, it's kinda low.

i could say accurate is a better reel based on some factors, but smoothness of the progear oceanus still entices me.

    Pro Gear vs. Accurate

I've yet seen a ProGear Oceanus come in for repair. Quite possibly that there are a lot less of these reels out there or they are not fished as often.

I hoping one would come in so that we can see how the thing is built.

    Just saying.

    Parts for Oceanus

What parts do you need? I'll see what I can do.

    Is it still under warranty?
