    PowerPro Depth Hunter??

anyone tried it yet for big game fish? they say its supposed to be better than the normal powerpro (which has usually been for inshore species) and is supposed to be an awesome product for tuna and offshore jigging. I haven't heard from any reliable sources yet...so what's your take?

Not sure how it will work but we spooled about 15 miles of it on Saturday at the tackle store. Buy a jigging reel and you got line for free, other wise it was 1/2 off.

Felt great and looked good. As I understand it, Shimano bought PP so it ought to get better with the new owners...
    MirrOlure when big fish count!

Good luck to all trying it

I would not take it for free. Way too many horror stories to renumerate.

Shimano normally just buys a company, doubles the prices, but does not re-engineer them.

If your high test line parts at very low numbers, don't just say it must have been hit by a fish, etc.
