Best Catch: The next bite on a jig.
Great job Nepptune. I saw that report on Deep Jigging. I tried for my first yellowfin on a jig a few weeks ago and we couldn't get set up on them right because of the conflicting conditions.

Great job on your fish!

Sorry for the grainy pic. Some meth heads stripped my home of everything of value. Computer, digital camera and memory sticks. Hunting gear....Fishing gear....Torsas(5) Trinidads(set) all of my jigging sticks(10) "miss my 8' Gusa" and Jeep Rubicon (stripped).......... Enough of that violin totting rant.

Brightside is building my gear back up. Bigger, Better, Badder.

This pic scanned grainy was from Loreto Baja Mexico. 8' Gusa jig stick. Salas 6x jr mackeral pattern jigs. Fun part was locking down the drags to keep the fish from running into line cutting structure. Next spring taking a portable fishfinder down and hitting some deep wrecks for AJ's and Grouper. No one fishes the deep wrecks (except a few) who do not mind the hard work. Finding, setting up and pulling on fish to be released.

Merry New Year to all.
The new season dedicated to "Ironwood Tuna"
Take a Vet Fishing.
