Well I cant let Chris get away with all the glory with the jigging action down here in New Zealand so heres another NZ Kingfish which is my PB on jig caught at the 3 Kings islands in New Zealand last weekend and estimated at a conservative 30KG / 67lb
Angler: Wetspot aka Lance Manins Weight: Conservative 30 kg @ 1.30m Caught: 3 Kings Boat Uwannago Skipper Batfarstad Rig: JMPS300 OJ 4000p PE8 Notes PB on Jig and released to fight another day !1st fish for both the rod and reel straight out of the box

I joined a group of friends from So Cal in June to fish the 3 Kings in NZ.
From the top - RobE, Wideopen, First_Watch, ChrisW, Bill Jnr, First_Watch, chrisw, Bill Jrn, DonW. Marlin was caught live baiting while the rest were with jigs. |
