The Daiwas have a medium-fast action giving it a little more stiffness in the butt. The Trevala has a slow-medium action that bends all the way into the grip.
However, I have experienced that the Diawa blanks actions are totally different depending on whether the blank has been tied for conventional or spinning.
I have the same Diawa blanks that are tied for conventional with a 30t. Also one tied for spinning with an Expedition. Its freaky at how much different the action is, even though it is exactly the same blank.
The blank tied for conventional loads medium-fast. The same blank tied for spinning loads medium.
