I personally use a pair of Ironclad General Utility gloves in the orange colour that I picked up in a major hardware chain here in Australia. I had a pair of Owner jigging gloves and after using the Ironclads I won't go back.

They fit correctly around the fingers and palms, just like a second skin and are double stiched and have extra synthetic leather pads in the key finger and palm areas.

The website is www.ironclad.com/www/index.jsp and they have a huge range of diffent types.

    Cheers,

    Ian

Try using the Crewsaver short fingered kevlar reinforced glove. They are excellant and provide great protection with the added kevlar to palms and fingers. You can pick some up at www.elfin4.com

I have used these personally for fishing and diving in warm climates and they are probably one of the best gloves you can get your hands on.
