Open Boat Jigging Trip Dates on the 55 Hooked Up 11 out of Cape May, NJ

I am reserving these dates for those serious jiggers that would like to come down and try for the bigger Bluefins on jigs off Cape May, NJ. Monday July 20th or Thursday July 23 and possibly Monday July 27th. We will only go if the jig bite is red hot and not do any trips unless there is an excellent chance to put together a excellent catch on jigs. The rates will be as low as I can possibly make them per person on these trips to help make it affordable for everyone. Again we will only do any of these dates if the jigging on Bluefins is world class and am hoping to see some tuna in the 150-200 lb range show up in the next couple of weeks. They will not be those slobs found up off the Cape Cod but on a good day you could potentially catch and release up to 15-20 tuna over 100 lbs and we have done this many times in the past in July the last few years. If the 200 lb plus BFT show up behind the scallop fleet which could happen any day now we will leave around midnight and go try and catch one on a jig or what ever works for the group. I honestly do not know if they big Bluefins will eat a jig when they are feeding on scallop guts but we sure can give it a try in the dark early am before the fleet arrives and that is when we have caught all our tuna over 200 lbs in the past.
