    Okuma Cedros speed jig

Anybody use a cedros speed jig rod? I like the feel of them and am thinking of picking up a spinning model. I have 2 conventional jigging rods made by a different company and want to add a spinner to the boat.
    Thanks,
    Michael

    fishduck,

I have one of the Okuma Cedros rods paired with an Okuma V65 reel and i am pleased with the rod. It doesn't have the parabolic action of some rods but it has some backbone to pull'em up from the deep. Compared to some of the other rods in the price group its really nice. Overall i am pleased with the combo.

The next bite on a jig.
As ballywho said, it is a Fast action rod and not a parabolic. Just look at the rating and match the rod rating to the depth and jig size you plan to fish most with it. Roughly 100g per 100f. Although I fished a 300g in 160ft over the weekend.

I haven't used one, but saw one at the show and Pete and reviewed it carefully. A guy who go some jigs from me, also got one of them. I wish I could get a hold of him to see how he likes it.

    Juicyhook,
I'll let you know when I get it. Anglers has them that's where I looked at them.
I have 2 of the Offshore angler freestyle jigging rods casting models and love them. I am adding afew more jig rods to the boat and thought I'd try some other brands.
