    can't beat a big hit on the jig. It's an awesome feeling when you jigging up and you get pulled back down buy a big tuna

    The Cedros conventional Rod

    The heaviest one will only pick up 15 lbs dry lift. It made such bad sounds, I was afraid to try more.

    It was my entry rod..since have gone custom. it does have some good hardware on it though to keep when they break!

    So how would you guys compare this one to something like the Trevala? Or to some of the better quality rods like the OTI? Love th look of it, but that blank looks to be bottomed out. What size AJ was it?

    All I have is the Trevala MH66 in conventional and spinning. I just got the spinning and they are the way to go. They are not the best but for $100 I have 6 setups ready to go. I have caught AJ, Cobia, Kings, Tuna, up to 100lbs. They work great, but of course I haven't used anything that was more expensive so there is probably definitely something better out, I just aint used it yet, I don't think I want to because then I will go broke.
