Ocean Isle questions

Well .... my wife's side of the family has finally decided to have the annual beach trip at a place it might be worth bringing my boat to, Ocean Isle. So ... here begins my quest for intel. We are going in August.

Does anybody have an idea where I might be able to keep my boat for a week? I have a 31 Contender and if I can't find a slip, I can haul it daily but will still need a place to park it. Any suggestions for a cheap slip or a place to park it overnight? What ramp do you recommend? Good tackle place or place to get live bait?

Last and certainly not least .... are any of you feeling particularly generous with any numbers or recommended fishing spots for August? I am not going to be in this area for more than that week so you can rest assured that I will not crowd up your spots. I am never that far south as I fish mainly out of AB. If you have any numbers that you wouldnt mind sharing, PM me and I will find a way to re-pay you!

I have talked about fishing for years with these family members and finally have an opportunity to put my money where my mouth is! I dont want to dissappoint.

There is a Wildlife baot ramp under the bridge there at Ocean Isle. For parking th the boat Island Tackle has a place you parker your boat not sure how much it cost. I'll see if i can find the number for you. Also there is Ocean Isle Marina there too. If you need some info in where to fish let me know.

My home port, I'll be glad to shoot you some numbers and give you the hotspots (if any) when you are down. August is typically kind of slow for kigns and such but theya re around and if you find them you can catch them. Its a great time for bottom fishing, I'm hoping to be able to learn about that this summer (and this whole jigging thing)
