how hard was it to reel?
did you get good freespool with the 35#
and how big over 100# were the fish you were having a problem with?

It wans;t hard to reel at all and the free spool was lost a bit at 35#s but it was plenty free enough to drop jigs, or free line bait, or drop back bally's. Non of the fish were over 100# but you can feel that a lower gear is needed. Y0u needed to use the rod.

I talked to John today and he is going to put in 4.0:1 gears in for me. I am very pleased with his service and a pleasure to talk with.

i may play with the new everol 12/20 2spd i still have here..
havent sent it back yet..soon though
