Hopefully come saturday i will have some pics of me either with a fish and this rod to thank or just a good old smile and this rod cause im happy to finally get out and go. Again Paul was a saint and busted hiss A$$ to get this rod done quickly and it turned out so nice. Im more then pleased and will be looking to do further business with him. Well tight lines to all and have a good night

BAd report 10/8-10/9

Well neeedless to say the fishing absolutely sucked. My beatifull rod performed wonderfully and spent a good amunt of time convincing people that the rod and reel (rod 400g JM rapped by paul from JPR and my new stella 18000sw) could handle the job.
Well 1st off we didnt leave the dock till about 1230pm thursday attempting to let the winds blow down. Finally we get under way and after a 8 hour trip we reach a different destination then was planned do to the temp being farther out.
All throught the night from about 8pm thursday till friday morning one nice Mako est 175lbs and one tiny little tuna was caught. Crazy thing was the gentlemen with the mako got him in on a 8/0 wide gap on mono tipped with a fresh squid. I thought that was rather impressive. Finally night is over and no swords to even show there face at 730 when we are just about to pull anchor we his a small blitz of tuna ranging from 20-30lbs 6 people hooked up while the rest of us including myself left skunked. The bite cam on jigs only on anything gold at around 100ft. Anyhow overall had a great time wind was a pian in the ass but thats fishing right? Good luck to anyone heading out there soon the wind started to pick up bad on the way in and swells were 6-12ft. Tight lines to all and soon ill be posting pictures of my beautiful new custom. Thanks all and hope this helps a few out.

Hey Paul after I receive the rod from you I will talk about a spin jig rod for my Acc. spin reel. Something different perhaps.
And I do hope you get swamped for the holidays. Please if you get a chance show me some pics of my rod in the works.
Thanks Paul, Doug
